Accessing Servers with the KVM

There are two main ways to access the servers. In the server room you can:

  • Use the PC on the back side of the desk
  • Use the keyboard/monitor facing the door

When using the keyboard/monitor facing the door remember these general points of information:

  • Strike ScrLk, ScrLk, Spacebar to display the screen that lists the machines you can access
  • Use Page Up and Page Down keys to move between the racks
  • The racks are labeled 00, 01, 02, 03
  • The up arrow and down arrow will allow you to move up and down in the list. Strike Enter to select a server and Esc to clear the list.
