Comparing Two Documents in Word
From ITS Wiki
Have you ever found yourself switching back and forth between two Word documents so that you can compare the content? There’s a feature in Word 2007 that will easily allow you to view two documents side by side. You can also scroll through the documents independently or in synchronous mode. You can work in either document.
Just follow these easy steps:
1. Open the documents you wish to compare/view.
2. Select the “View” tab.
3. In the “Window” group, choose “View Side by Side.”
4. In the “Window” group choose “Synchronous Scrolling” (right below “View Side by Side”) if you want to scroll through both documents at the same time
5. To exit this mode click “View Side by Side” again to deselect it.
