Installing CX 8.1

This page provides information on how to install CX 8.1 for both Macs and PCs.
Unable To Launch Appliation
If you receive this error on a previously working installation, you may need to blow away the previous install and start fresh. See Unable To Launch Application Error 8.1 for details.
Installation
- Install Java 6
- Point your web browser to http://ccinfo.centre.edu:9040/CXConnect.jnlp
- Create a shortcut by going to Control Panel... Classic View... Java. Under the General tab, click the "View" button visible under Temporary Internet Files. Highlight the Jenzabar CX - carsi entry in the Applications list and click the "Install Shortcuts" button, indicated below.
- (NOTE: This is only necessary in extraordinary cases. Most users do not need to access the training database.) If installing carstrain instance, point your web browser to http://ccinfo.centre.edu:9045/CXConnect.jnlp and repeat process above to create a shortcut.
