From ITS Wiki
Admittedly, I’m lost on my computer without my mouse. But there are actually those who claim that using keyboard shortcuts can cut the time it takes to do something on a computer considerably. Below are 10 keyboard shortcuts to memorize and practice if you want to test that theory…or in case you mouse dies at the most inconvenient time!

Copy the highlighted text or selected item.
Ctrl + V or Shift + Insert
Paste the text or object that's in the clipboard.

Ctrl + Home / End
