Network Registration
From ITS Wiki
Getting your computer connected to the network on campus is straight-forward and ITS recommends to attempt to register your own machine before bringing it by and dropping it off for us to register for you.
In order to get you Windows machine connected you'll need to meet our system requirements which are:
- Running and up to date version of anti-virus. If you do not have a current copy of anti-virus software we recommend AVG Free or avast! Free Antivirus
- Make sure your anti-virtus signatures are updated
- Running an updated version of anti-spyware software. AVG Free and avast! Free Antivirus are also anti-spyware products
- Making sure your copy of Windows is up-to-date with the most current security updates and patches
Connect your machine to Centre's wired or Wireless (SSID "centre") network. Start your web browser, login with your Centre provided username and password and follow the directions.
If you are still having trouble connecting to the network, or simply don't feel comfortable trying to self-register, at the beginning of the year (before classes begin) ITS will be hosting the multi-day PC Fair in the basement of Bingham Hall where we will be taking in machines to be registered. Formal dates will be announced closer to the beginning of the year.
