Participate in the World Community Grid
From ITS Wiki
The World Community Grid, sponsored by I.B.M, is a volunteer computing effort that puts your home or office computer to work solving some of the world's toughest humanitarian computing challenges.
The Official Centre College Team
Centre was invited to participate by I.B.M. in the Fall of 2007. Since that time, a small subset of the campus' computers have donated 53 years worth of computing time towards the World Community Grid's efforts. On average, for each day we've been involved the College has generated over 34 hours running time to the project.
If you'd like to join the College's official team, click here. Please note that you'll have to create an account with World Community Grid and download a special piece of software that allows your computer to participate in the project.
