Where to find previous Technology Tips online

You may recall that a few weeks ago ITS sent a request to you asking that you participate in a survey so that we could determine ways we can serve you even better. One question on the survey asked you to suggest topics you would like covered in a Technology Tip. For the next couple of weeks, and at the start of next term, we will address many of those suggestions and questions.

Today’s tip will address the question: Where can I find an archive of Technology Tips in case I delete one or want to check the list before asking a question?

Each time we email a Technology Tip to our faculty and staff we also archive it on our Helpdesk. You can find our previous tips a couple of different ways.

Method One:

1. Navigate to http://helpdesk.centre.edu/

2. Click on “Documentation” near the top of the page

3. In the “Popular Items” section, click “Technology Tips”

Method Two:

After navigating directly to the archived tips (using this link: http://wiki.centre.edu/its/index.php/Technology_Tips) add it to your “Favorites” for future reference.
